The Euless Math Contest (EMC) recently concluded its pre-qualifying round with an impressive participation of 103 students, marking a vibrant showcase of mathematical talent. Held for 1st to 5th graders, the competition brought together students from 10 different schools, creating an atmosphere of collaborative learning and friendly competition.

Among the 103 participants, 17 non-Harmony students from 11 different schools demonstrated their enthusiasm and dedication to mastering the challenges posed by the contest. This diverse representation highlights the EMC's commitment to inclusivity and providing a platform for students from various educational backgrounds to excel in mathematics.

From the pre-qualifiers, 29 outstanding students have emerged as finalists, poised to compete in the upcoming finals scheduled for January 20th, 2024. Notably, 6 of these finalists hail from schools other than Harmony, showcasing the widespread impact and appeal of the Euless Math Contest.

The EMC extends heartfelt congratulations to all qualifying students for their exceptional achievements. We eagerly anticipate the finals, where these young mathematical minds will further showcase their talents and compete for top honors.
